More than 3,000 trees, including many fruit trees, were planted and cultivated together with a local elementary school. The result is a diverse, beautiful rainforest that stops soil erosion, restores the ecological balance, stabilises the water supply and promotes biodiversity via sustainable means.
This project goes beyond afforestation; it is a collaborative process. The local people have made the forest their own. Today, it is a habitat for animals, a source of food and a symbol of what is possible when responsibility is shared. Transformation here means not only preserving but actively improving what is already there.
